WALLS OF EGYPT

DAS rote meer ist unter tauchern einer der beliebtesten tauchspots weltweit. Tolle sichtweiten und explodierendes leben, ein mix aus unzählbaren weich- und hartkorallen, farben und formen wo man hinblickt.

ziel war es nun die entlegendsten riffe des roten meeres zu erkunden. hinter dem titel „walls of egypt“ verbergen sich die steilen droppoffs winziger korallenberge im nirgendwo.

the red sea is one of the most popular diving spots in the world. fantastic visibility and exploding life, a mix of countless soft and hard corals, colours, shapes wherever you turn. the goal was to explore the most remote reefs of the red sea. under the Titel „WALLS of egypt“ we travelled to the steep droppoffs, tiny isolated coral mountains in the middle of nowhere.

BIG FISH

Wieder einmal hat es mich unter Wasser verschlagen. Besonderes Augenmerk dieses Mal sind die „Großen“.

Im November 2020 und im April 2021 ging es jeweils auf die Malediven, um Tiger-, Ammen-, graue Riffhaie, Mantas, Walhaie und vieles mehr vor die Linse zu bekommen.

Aufgenommen wurden die Bilder im Ari Atoll, Vaavu Atoll, Male Atoll, Gaafu Atoll und Fuvammulah Atoll.

FACES OF SOUTH ETHIOPIA

Im Projekt „FACES OF SOUTH ETHIOPIA“ geht es um Portraitfotografie mit den Völkern des äthiopischen südens und dem versuch deren Kultur und das bezaubernde Lächeln der Menschen dort einzufangen – so entstanden die ersten Aufnahmen im Januar 2021 mit den Stämmen der Mursi, Caro und Hamer rund um das Omo-Valley in der Nähe der kenianischen Grenze.
