Discovering the big wide world — cultures, people, nature and moments — has always played a defining role in my life.
I began to travel when I was very young and always tried to capture the moment with my camera. Out of a sense of enjoyment grew a passion that keeps developing and reinventing itself.
It began with a basic Canon 300 and a roll of Fuji film. Developing pictures with my grandfather in the darkroom was always a highlight.
In 2004 I bought my first used digital SLR, a Canon 10D. Suddenly the previously complicated and, for a schoolboy, expensive hobby became much easier. I have stayed loyal to the brand and work with a Canon R5 today.
In 2017 I became a passionate underwater photographer and made my equipment waterproof using housings from SUBAL in Austria. I could not hope for a better partner for this demanding branch of photography.
Today my portfolio ranges from wildlife, landscape and macro through architecture and people to travel and underwater photography. I look forward to every new challenge and collaboration.
